The Church
The Church at Montagne Carree has grown steadily over the years. In the 1990’s, this land was 100% voodoo land with no Christian churches present. The land was run by voodoo priests and priestesses that had their way with the people of the mountain. The church has approximately 150-200 people who attend every Sunday morning, as well as a good crowd on Sunday night and one week night service. On special occasions, we have had over 600 people in attendance.
The 2019-2020 school year we had 19 students give their life to Christ. Please pray for them as they continue their walk with Christ.
We are following up on the decisions that the students made in either following Christ or rededications from the 2021-2022 school year.
The Future
We have a plan to complete an outside Chapel for smaller bible studies and worship services. Although the Church Building is not yet completed, though it is usable, we believe that we can finish this outside Chapel and begin using it right away.
